Pair of bedside tables or sofa ends, model "Yara", created in the 60's by Sergio Rodrigues, offering three levels of shelves, two in wood and one in glass, as well as a drawer opening in front. In the design of this model, we can find the iconic elements of Sergio Rodrigues' style. Indeed, the composition in four legs of square section, the circle cut in the front of the drawer to shape the handle, the choice of right angles with a softly rounded finish, everything here reminds us of the artist's hand. The originality of this model lies nevertheless in the lighter aspect that Sergio Rodrigues gives to these side tables, as well as in the choice of glass to form the upper shelf, a material that he uses infrequently and that reinforces the airy style of this piece.Proof if any were needed that the artist does not hesitate to reinvent himself, without abandoning his singular style and his essential inspiration that have made him a great master of Brazilian design.
