Cette sculpture a été réalisée par Turuza, artiste autochtone de la communauté Wauja, située dans la région du Xingu, en Amazonie brésilienne. Mesurant 15 × 72 × 11 cm, elle adopte une forme zoomorphe représentant un tamandua — aussi appelé fourmilier — un animal emblématique de la faune brésilienne.


15 % des bénéfices de la vente de cette œuvre seront reversés à une association œuvrant pour la préservation du parc du Xingu et le soutien aux modes de vie autochtones.

This sculpture was created by Turuza, an Indigenous artist from the Wauja community, located in the Xingu region of the Brazilian Amazon. Measuring 15 × 72 × 11 cm, the piece takes on a zoomorphic form representing a tamandua — also known as an anteater — an iconic animal of Brazilian wildlife.

15% of the proceeds from the sale of this work will be donated to an organization dedicated to preserving the Xingu Park and supporting the traditional ways of life of Indigenous communities.
