Estudio Rain Brazilian

Estúdio Rain was founded in 2015 by product designer Mariana Ramos (b. 1986) and architect Ricardo Innecco (b. 1986). The studio develops a wide range of projects, from self-initiated works to collaborations and commissioned pieces. Born and educated in Brasília, Mariana and Ricardo carry with them the strong modernist legacy of their home city, defined by vast open spaces, urban monumentality, and sculptural architecture, influences that are clearly reflected in the studio’s visual vocabulary.

Material investigation and production processes have guided their practice from the beginning. Many of their works emerge from material experimentation, combining traditional or rudimentary techniques with contemporary digital methods. Over the years, Estúdio Rain has built a distinctive language in which formal simplicity and constructive rigor come together to form visual narratives that, even when complex, maintain a sense of lightness and clarity.

Mariana and Ricardo work collaboratively, bringing together complementary skills both in their design approach and in the daily running of the studio. They embrace a plural vision of design, moving fluidly between industrial and artistic practices, which allows them to operate expansively, with freedom, curiosity, and dialogue at the heart of their creative process.

In recent years, Estúdio Rain has expanded its practice, exploring new contexts and scales through installations, scenographic projects, and bespoke pieces created in collaboration with architecture and interior-design offices.
