Cette chaise rare, conçue par Abraham Palatnik vers 1950, montre l'intérêt précoce de l'artiste pour les matériaux industriels et la structure moderniste. Fabriquée en métal laqué noir avec le curvin blanc (un matériau en vinyle brésilien), la pièce combine des lignes minimalistes avec une élégance fonctionnelle. Le cadre mince, le siège arrondi et le dossier suspendu expriment une esthétique légère tout en offrant un confort ergonomique. Principalement connu pour son rôle pionnier dans l'art cinétique, Palatnik a également exploré le design à travers son studio Arte Vida, où il a développé un nombre limité de meubles.
