Datant de 1973, ce fauteuil "Commander" surprend les connaisseurs du designer brésilien Jorge Zalszupin. Connu pour ses créations en bois de rose, plaqué ou thermoformé, comme le banc "Onda" ou le canapé "Presendentiel", Zalszupin rompt avec ses habitudes avec ce fauteuil dont la structure est en aluminium peint et laqué noir, ainsi que son assise et son dossier composés d'une coque en fibre de verre qui lui confère une souplesse et un confort incomparables.Grâce à sa ligne dynamique tracée par ses pieds formés d'une seule pièce avec ses accoudoirs, l'esthétique forte de ce fauteuil atypique évoque volontiers la science-fiction, les univers de Blade Runner ou Star Wars.

Dating back to 1973, this "Commander" armchair surprises connoisseurs of Brazilian designer Jorge Zalszupin, best known for his creations in rosewood, veneered or thermoformed, such as the "Onda" bench or the "Presendentiel" sofa, Zalszupin breaks with his usual habits with this armchair whose structure is made of black painted and lacquered aluminum, as well as its seat and backrest composed of a fiberglass shell that gives incomparable flexibility and comfort.Thanks to its dynamic line traced by its legs formed in one piece with its armrests, the strong aesthetics of this atypical armchair readily evokes science fiction, the worlds of Blade Runner or Star Wars.
